FOLSOM, Calif. – Freshman Carolina Ingenito scored a game-high 11 points to help the St. Francis junior varsity team post a 56-15 win over Granite Bay in the opening round of the Folsom-Vista Classic.
Ingenito scored nine of her 11 points in the first half as the Troubadours built a 33-11 lead. Sarah Cloninger added six points over the first half, finishing with 10 points.
Julie SooHoo added seven points in the win. Ina Tolentino and Lindsay Soloaga contributed six points.
St. Francis held Granite Bay to four points in the second half, including zero in the final quarter.
The Troubies will play the Davis-Vista del Lago winner at 8:30 p.m. Friday night.
