DAVIS, Calif. - Milan Baccay scored a career high nine points to lead the St. Francis Junior Varsity basketball team to a win against Davis Friday night in their season finale.
St. Francis came back after being down in the first quarter 11-9 with the help of sophomore Baccay who scored two three-pointers in the second quarter, bringing the Troubies to half time with a lead (21-16). In the third quarter, Baccay added to her six points with another three-pointer. Carolina Ingenito and Natalie Graybill added to the 21-16 score after making three-pointers as SF started the fourth quarter with a 37-29 lead over Davis. Graybill and Baccay both finished with nine points.
The Troubies closed out the game against Davis with a three point win (48-45) despite being outscored (16-11) in the fourth quarter.
St. Francis JV basketball finished the season with a 23-5 overall record with a season total of 1327 points this season.
