Alumna Lilly Murphy ‘14 was the President’s Medal winner after earning her B.S. in Biological Sciences from Sacramento State’s College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
The St. Francis swimming team would have been competing at the Delta League Championship this week. Instead, the coaches joined forces with the Davis Senior coaching staff and held a combined team Zoom meeting with “rival” Davis Senior High School that featured a virtual a scavenger hunt. Over 70 student-athletes joined the event.

Softball and Swimming have schedule changes this week due to the Elk Grove School District closing. Softball will no longer play at Laguna Creek on Monday as the game has been canceled and has added games at Vista del Lago in Folsom on Tuesday at 4:15 p.m. for both varsity and junior varsity teams. The swimming meet scheduled against Sheldon on Wednesday has been canceled.
The St. Francis swimming team won nine of 11 events and swept the diving to post a 131-51 dual meet victory over Franklin on Wednesday at the Wackford Pool Complex.
The St. Francis swimming team posted 21 varsity and 24 Frosh/Soph Section qualifying times in the opening meet against Davis on Friday. The Blue Devils outscored the Troubadours 108-61 not counting diving results.
