Frosh Basketball Falls in Woodcreek Consolation Final  

ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Marisa Kamin scored a team-best 10 points in a 38-37 loss to host Woodcreek in the Woodcreek Winter Tournament.

The Troubadours held a 30-24 lead at the end of the third but Woodcreek closed with a 14-point quarter to hold on for the one-point victory.

Kamin scored eight of her 10 points in the third quarter as the Troubies built the lead. Arianna Ross cored all six of her points in the second. But SF managed just seven points in the final quarter.

St. Francis (x-x) defeated Davis 38-10 in its first consolation game on Friday. Oge Okoye led the team with seven points. The Troubies lost to Nevada Union 38-22 in the tournament opener.

St. Francis hosts Del Otro at 5:30 p.m. on January 2 and play at Folsom on Jan. 5.
