Coach Quincy joined the Troubie family as an assistant flag football coach during the school's inaugural season of 2023. He arrived to the program with experience as both a coach and player in the sport. Cooper served as an official and coach for flag football, soccer and basketball while working for the Sacramento City Unified School District After School Education and Safety program for more than three years. Additionally, he was the regular-season and postseason sack leader as a member of the Sacramento Revolution in the West Sac Sports Adult Flag Football league.

Cooper also coached the Southgate Steelers youth flag program to an Elk Grove Division title as part of the NFL FLAG program from 2011-13.
