SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Junior Daniella Guerrera had bases clearing double to highlight a 10-run second inning as the St. Francis softball team opened the Franklin Preseason Tournament with a 11-5 win over Bella Vista Thursday.

Jazzy Bazquez added two hits, two runs and a RBI for the Troubadours. Grace Jenkins added two hits and two RBI in the win. Hope Jenkins (2-0) got the win after rebounding from a four-run first inning.

Hope Jenkins (3-0) got her second win in the second game, striking out 12 Bruins in a 4-2 win over Ponderosa. Guererra again provided an offensive boost with two RBI via a ground out and sacrifice fly. Hope Jenkins added the final insurance run with a run-scoring single to push the lead to 4-2.

St. Francis plays again on Friday night at 6:45 p.m. against Pioneer.
