SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Nine St. Francis seniors signed on the first day of the NCAA Signing period representing six sports with universities and college in California, Texas, New York and Washington, D.C. at a ceremony on campus Wednesday morning.

Volleyball outside hitter Alexa Edwards (Pacific) joined setter Jesiree Moral (Fresno Pacific) in making their verbal commitments official. They play in their CIF Northern California regional Open Division playoff game Wednesday night.

Water Polo had three representatives including Kendall Houck (San Diego State), Alyssa Jacobsen (George Washington) and Bella Vierra (Wagner College). They will play for the Sac-Joaquin Section team title against Davis on Saturday at Roseville Aquatic Center.

Emma Peters (swimming) signed with the University of San Diego, while runner Haley Silva inked with the UC-Berkeley cross country and track programs. Emily Billena signed with Chico State soccer and Sydnie Young will compete for the TCU Equestrian program.
