SACRAMENTO, Calif. – St. Francis senior Alexa Edwards was named to the inaugural American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Region team. Edwards was one of 34 players chosen for the Region 9 team from the states of California, Nevada and Arizona.
Edwards has recorded 425 kills this season and hit a career-best .383 with 344 digs. She ranked sixth in hitting percentage and eighth in total kills in Division I (MaxPreps).
Edwards will be looking to help her team to win the Section title on Saturday against Oak Ridge.
