SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The St. Francis volleyball team earned the No. 1 seed in the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I Girls bracket for the third consecutive season, the Sac-Joaquin Section announced Friday. The Troubadours will open play on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. against the winner of No. 16 Monterey Trail and No. 17 Enochs played on Monday, Oct. 28. Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for children. No Sports Passes will be accepted.
The Division I brackets also includes No. 2 Rocklin, No. 3 Oak Ridge, No. 4 St. Mary's, No. 5 Cosumnes Oaks, No. 6 Pleasant Grove, No. 7 Gregori, No. 8 Woodcreek, No. 9 Turlock, No. 10 Davis, No. 11 Lincoln, No. 12 Folsom, No. 13 Pitman, No. 14 Bear Creek, No. 15 Kennedy and No. 18 Chavez.
St. Francis owns 12-0 record against the bracket field having played Rocklin (1-0), Oak Ridge (2-0), Lincoln (1-0) and the four Delta League opponents.
The Troubadours went 32-2 in the regular season, winning the Delta League title for the third consecutive season and extending league winning streak to 41 matches.
