ELK GROVE, Calif. – The St. Francis volleyball team (14-0) posted a 3-1 victory over Pleasant Grove on Thursday night. After dropping the first set 27-25, the Troubadours won three straight sets 25-16, 25-16, 25-16 to take the road Delta League match.
Senior Alexa Edwards led the team with 17 kills, while Ellie Eichhorn led the offense with 28 assists.
St. Francis, the top-ranked team in the Sacramento Bee poll, improved to No. 12 in the Cal-Hi Sports from No. 16.
St. Francis is back on the road next Tuesday at Elk Grove.
