Volleyball Sweeps Roseville in Foundation Game

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The St. Francis volleyball team swept Roseville 3-0 in the Sac-Joaquin Section Foundation game 25-13, 25-10, 25-16.

"I think we played pretty well," said junior Ashley Magley. "There is some things to work on but overall it was good performance."

Magley had nine kills while hitting .438 to go with a team-high four blocks and two digs to assist in the winning effort. Senior Alexa Edwards led the team with 10 kills while hitting .450 and junior Chloe Henning added seven kills.

Sacramento Bee No. 2 ranked St. Francis, who is also ranked No. 16 in the state, hosts Sacramento Bee No. 1 on Tuesday. The freshman open with match at 4:30 p.m. followed by the junior varsity game at 5:30 p.m. and varsity at 6:30 p.m.
