"It was a pretty good day," said Head Coach Rod Jett. "Everything went accoridng to plan. We had the big comeback from Meghan Ladd and had a lot of people advance. We are looking forward to Friday and hopefully we can bring home a sectioon championship."

"It feels pretty good because I have not been in the running earlier this season," said Ladd. "I am starting to make a comeback."
Sophomore Reyna Johnson posted the top time in the 100m hurdles at 14.49, while teammate Serena Shimada qualified fifth at 15.43 and Isabella Palchak sneaking in ninth. SF advanced three in the 800m hurdles led by junior Isabella Fauria in 2:16.64. She edged teammate Haley Silva (2:16.68), who ran a personal-best, and Sophie DeBenedetti, who placed ninth in 2:22.75.
"Haley and I were in the same heat so our goal was to stick together and qualify," said Fauria, who will run the 1600 and 4x400m relay finals on Friday. "We did that and Haley got a PR as we put down really fast times going into the finals."
Johnson came back to advance in the 100 meters in 12.56 in third overall. Freshmen Kenna De Lemos (11th, 12.92) and seniors Isbelle Grassel (14th, 13.01) and Chanel Grimes (16th, 13.09) did not advance. But Grimes snuck in the 200m final in 26.67in ninth with a chance to score points on Friday.

"We ran really well and had the best time in trials in the 4x100 so I really happy about that," said Shimada. "I am really excited about qualifying in both hurdle events. My goal us to make it ti Masters, do my best and have fun with my teammates."
The 4x400m relay qualified fifth overall giving the Troubadours an entry in the final event of the meet to add to their team point total. Fauria combined with freshman Alexys Jones, Peyton Carson and Grace Heisinger to record a time of 4:08.23.

"The people we have in the finals are a good position to win and score a lot of points," said Jett. "We should be right there."
