Elk GROVE, Calif. - Sophomore Ella Dichiara made her singles debut and posted a straight set win ate No. 6, helping St. Francis to an 8-1 victory over Elk Grove.
Junior Izzy Asker won at No. 2 singles over Taylor Cresci 6-3, 6-0, while Safaa Umar and Bianca Ariza did not drop a game in 6-0, 6-0 wins at No. 3 and 5, respectively. Sophomore Polina Greenberg was also a winner at No. 4, taking the match with a third-set tiebreaker.
Sophomore Maddie Brown and freshman Chloe Garcia swept in straight sets at No. 1 doubles, while Emmy Goebels and Norah Zhou were winners at No. 2 and Allison Prestwich and Siena Vincent were victorious at No. 3.
St. Francis hosts Cosumnes Oaks for Senior Match on Thursday at 3:45 at Rio del Oro Racquet Club.
