Cinthia Rios Joins St. Francis Varsity Soccer Staff

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Cinthia Rios has been named as a varsity assistant coach with the St. Francis soccer program.

"I am excited to have Cinthia join the staff," said Head Coach Maryclaire Robinson. "The more we can bring women into the sport as a school of women leaders, it is a good thing. She has built up her own business and is an educator. She has the right mentality and perspective to move our students forward."

Rios played at Yuba College and Hawaii Hilo after her prep career in Idaho at Burley High School.

Rios previously served as an assistant coach at Sacramento High in 2016 and as the Director of Soccer with Olympus in Sacramento.

She also worked for two seasons with Sacramento Republic F.C. as a marketing and promotions team leader. She is currently the coordinator of Enrichment Support Services Department with Total Education Solutions.

She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in physical education and has a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Troy University with a concentration in Sport Fitness, Management and Leadership.
