SWEDEN – Rising senior Taylor Earle scored the fifth shootout goal as part of an eight-round 7-6 win for NorCal Premier PDP team against Sweden's Umea IK FF in the Gothia Cup quarterfinals.
NorCal Premier PDP advanced out of Group 3 as the top-seeded team with a 2-0-1 record against teams from Sweden and Germany.
They play in the G17 semifinal against Finalnd's Pallokerho Keski-Uusimaa. The game will start at 6:30 a.m. on Friday California time.
