Laila Hadid Named Junior Varsity Gold Most Valuable Player

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Freshman Laila Hadid was named the Most Valuable Player of the junior varsity gold soccer team at their banquet on Tuesday at the Old Spaghetti Factory.

Hadid led the team with 13 goals and 30 points on the season. Freshman Jaedyn Alford was selected as the Offensive MVP after scoring six goals on the season, while freshman Kenna Delemos was chosen as the Defensive MVP anchoring the Troubie back line. Sophomore Madie Fahey, who was one of the team captains, received the Troubie Spirit Award as the player that best exemplified a Troubie by the coaching staff.

The team finished the season with a 10-3-5 overall mark and 8-2-2 in Delta league play. They out-scored their opponents 51-12 on the season.
