ELK GROVE, Calif. - Laila Hadid scored two first-half goals and the Junior Varsity Gold team finished its 2018-19 season with a 2-1 win over Cosumnes Oaks. The Troubadours finished with a 10-3-5 overall record with a sparkling 8-2-2 record in Delta League play.
Hadid scored twice within three minutes 30 minutes into the first half to give SF a 2-0 lead at the break. The Wolfpack scored in the second but goalie Olivia Hazeghazam recorded nine saves in the game to preserve the win.
Hadid finished the season with 11 goals with her fourth multi-goal game of the season. Emma Noll provided an assist on one of the net finders.
Head Coach Alex Hoang and his team will celebrate their season on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at the Old Spaghetti Factory with a team banquet.
