Bert’s coaching philosophy; The team will be guided by the phrase, “Integrity in the Moment” to govern performance. We will seek to align the mind, body and spirit; the mind (mastery of the rules, golf course management & personal control), the body (golf swing biomechanics, flexibility, endurance, spatial awareness, and strength), and spirit (creation of a peace-like state to keep players in the moment). We will strive to create private personal victories as a basis for public team celebration. S.M.A.R.T. personal and team goals will put “First things First” by focusing on the urgent and important.

Jones graduated from Texas A&M in 1975 where he was a member of the golf team for one season. He also played for the United States Marine Corps Golf Team during his five-year service career. He and his wife, Deborah, live in Loomis.
