DAVIS, Calif. – Freshman Arianna Ross tied her career-high with 10 points to lead the freshman basketball team to 50-25 win over Davis Friday night.
St. Francis (16-7) jumped out to a 14-6 lead in the first quarter with Oge Okoye scoring six of her eight points in the quarter. Ross got started in the second with four points and add six in the fourth. Mariah Cornejo and Felicita Mathews scored two baskets before the half as the Troubies built the lead to 33-11. Cornejo finished with nine points and Mathews added eight.
The SF attack slowed in the third with just six points but closed out the game in the fourth behind Rss.
The Troubies finished the season with a perfect record in Delta League games at 4-0 and winning nine of their last 10 games overall.
