Three Troubies Represent at Optimist Softball Game

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The St. Francis softball program was represented by three players in the 42nd annual Optimist All-Star game held at Capital Christian School Wednesday.

Seniors Chloe Smith, Bella Valentine and Sydney Littles combined to go 4-for-5 at the plate and all three started for the South squad. The North posted a 5-2 victory led by MVP Mazie McFarland of Whitney, who hit a two-run home run.

Valentine started at first base and went 1-for-1, while Smith was 2-for-2 with two singles as the starting second baseman. Little went 1-for-2 and started in center field.
