St. Francis softball coaching staff will support student athletes in developing the proper skills necessary to compete in softball on a competitive level: fielding infield and outfield, hitting, throwing, and a variety of bunting techniques. The camp will also include pitching and catching techniques proper base running.

Senior Caitlin Caldwell has been a four-year starter for the Troubadours. She is planning to go to Sierra College. She has won 22 games for the Troubadours over her career and has hit .337 at the plate. Caldwell was part of the school’s internship program with Kaiser last summer.
Freshman Hope Jenkins is the GoTroubies.com Athlete of the Week for March 10-17, 2019. Jenkins pitched seven innings for St. Francis, leading them into a 2-0 shutout against Davis Friday afternoon during their first Delta League game.
Arden Hatch is a four-year varsity player for the Troubadours. She has seen action in 45 career games and recorded 73 strikeouts and seven wins. She will be playing at Concordia (Ore.) University next fall and will be studying sports management. She hopes to have a career in sports.
Gabbi Guerrera has been a four-year varsity player. She has seen action in 54 career games, hitting .314 with 43 career hits. She will be attending the University of Nevada Reno in the fall. She will study business/management. She likes to wake board and plans to buy a boat someday.
The St. Francis softball team won a pair of games at the Franklin Preseason Tournament Friday at the Sacramento Softball Complex defeating River City 11-10 and McQueen 8-5 out of Reno, Nev.
