California High School Volleyball - St. Francis tips Ponderosa

September 1, 2018: Shingle Springs, CA 95682

St. Francis Troubadours (Sacramento, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Troubadours clash with the Bishop Gorman Gaels (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 1. St. Francis will attempt to advance on its 10-2 season record. The Gaels come into the match with a 2-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV).

With the loss, Ponderosa drops to 9-2 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Union Mine (El Dorado, CA) to clash with the Diamondbacks in a non-league match on Wednesday, September 5. The Diamondbacks come into the match with a record of 2-1. Union Mine won 3-0 in their recent league match against Cordova (Rancho Cordova, CA)
