SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A group of five senior student-athletes were honored for their participation in collegiate sports at four different colleges and universities during St. Francis Catholic High School’s spring National Letter of Intent and College Commitment celebration Tuesday morning.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Senior Yasmin Azar captured Player of the Year honors while head coach Maryclaire Robinson garnered her third consecutive Coach of the Year nod, leading St. Francis on the winter sports All-Delta League rolls as announced by the league office this week. Both Azar and Robinson snared their respective honors for girls’ soccer.

Chisolm, who previously served as the Associate Athletic Director at University High School in San Francisco, will assume his new role effective July 18. A total of 12 St. Francis High students committed to compete in eight different sports were recognized during the college preparatory school’s semi-annual National Letter of Intent and College Commitment ceremony, held in the main gymnasium Wednesday morning.
Previously a member of the intercollegiate athletics staff at UC Davis for 25 years, Mark Honbo joins the St. Francis High School family as the new assistant athletics director for communications. He replaces the beloved Steve Shaff, who departed the Troubie program in 2020.
