Athletic Department Event and Practice Update
All school activities, including athletics practices and competitions, are cancelled during the school closure directed by Bishop Soto.
As directed by Bishop Soto, in an effort to slow the onset of COVID-19, all diocesan schools are closed for a minimum of two weeks, effective immediately (Friday, March 13). All school activities, including athletics practices and competitions, are cancelled during this period as well.
To be clear, there has been no confirmed cases of Coronavirus/COVID 19 within our school community. This decision was made by the bishop in an effort to aid public health officials dealing with the pandemic.
Over the next two weeks, Athletic Director Mark McGreevy and the staff will be working with officials from the CIF, Sac-Joaquin Section, Delta League, and Sacramento Valley Lacrosse Conference to discuss possible ways to reclaim and rebuild our respective seasons. The Athletic Department staff plans to be on campus during this time.
